The role

The clinical specialist IN INTESTINAL DYSFUNCTION MANAGEMENT combines clinical expertise with a commercial and educational approach, so as to contribute to identifying clinical opportunities that lead to the development of our products in areas of unmet medical need, to developing the best access strategies in the regions under their responsibility, and the best utilization of our products by designing protocols and strategies that improve patient adherence, all through training and expert advice to healthcare professionals and user caregivers.

What you'll do

  • In collaboration with the Marketing and Sales departments, establish and develop relationships with healthcare professionals by providing information and training on the pathology, treatment, and therapeutic environment of intestinal management.
  • Provide the necessary technical support to ensure the effective use of intestinal management devices, ensuring proper use in accordance with the indications, contraindications, and warnings of the devices.
  • Cooperate with other departments to make proposals for clinical studies, health technology assessments, clinical study protocols, and training protocols.
  • Identify and develop key opinion leaders and potential ambassadors for our products.
  • Work in close collaboration with Sales Representatives to drive key accounts in order to increase sales.
  • Plan, design, and deliver training to healthcare professionals on the indications and best use of Coloplast devices.
  • Continuously update training content according to new scientific evidence, and promote changes in clinical guidelines that lead to an optimization of the use of our devices.
  • Collaborate with coloproctology, rehabilitation, pelvic floor, or neurorehabilitation units in defining care pathways where the company's devices can be integrated.
  • Act as an expert reference in intestinal dysfunction for both the commercial and marketing teams, and for the healthcare professionals with whom you collaborate.
  • Collaborate in the preparation and execution of account plans, mapping of clinical decision-makers, identification of care barriers, and patient-centered value propositions.
  • Accompany representatives / managers on key visits where clinical weight is decisive, helping to transform clinical opportunities into sustainable technology adoption.
  • Plan and execute all clinical study follow-up activities, in accordance with company guidelines and in collaboration with the "Payors and Evidence" team.
  • Collaborate with the Consumer Care Service in the management and follow-up of complaints raised by users, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure the performance and execution of workshops and training sessions on fecal incontinence management in order to promote our products.
  • Document all processes in line with the Company's values and policies.
