Do you have on-site experience controlling quality and the environment in building, civil works, or railway projects?

At ConfiARTE, we are recruiting a Quality and Environment Site Technician/Engineer to join a top-tier construction company. You will take part in the on-site execution of a major railway and industrial infrastructure project worth over €23 million in Vila-seca (Tarragona).

Requirements

🎯 WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? (Essential Requirements)

  • Education: Civil Engineering, Roads, Technical Architecture / Building, Environmental Sciences, or Agricultural Engineering / Forestry.
  • Minimum Experience: At least 3 years of experience ON-SITE performing quality control and/or environmental monitoring duties in construction companies or technical construction assistance roles.
  • Sector Experience: Accustomed to the environment of civil works, industrial construction, infrastructure, or the railway sector.
  • Key Knowledge: Mastery of construction PPIs, RCD management, PVA monitoring, and ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 standards applied to construction.
  • Residence: Residence in the province of Tarragona or a genuine willingness to relocate to the Tarragona area.

🌿 Environment and On-Site Environmental Monitoring:

  • Discharge and Water Control: On-site supervision of settling ponds, discharge parameters, pH and turbidity control, neutralization systems, and compliance with discharge permits (ACA / CHE).
  • Waste Management (CDW): Control, segregation, traceability, and documentary processing of Construction and Demolition Waste (hazardous and non-hazardous) with authorized managers.
  • Emissions and Dust: Implementation of corrective measures to minimize dust, construction machinery emissions, noise, and vibrations in urban/industrial areas.
  • Compliance with the Environmental Monitoring Plan (EMP): Daily monitoring of the conditions set forth in the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and protection of soils/aquifers during excavation and foundation works.
