Junior Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician

• Intermediate Vocational Training (Grado Medio) or Higher Vocational Training (Grado Superior) in Electricity and Electronics, Electrical and Automatic Installations, Electromechanical Maintenance, Industrial Mechatronics, or similar.

Guarantee the correct operating status of the facilities and production equipment through the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance, with a special focus on the detection and resolution of electrical faults.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial machinery and facilities.

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in production equipment.

• Execute periodic inspections of equipment and facilities.

• Perform electrical measurements and functional checks.

• Interpret electrical diagrams and locate incidents in electrical panels and machinery.

• Participate in technical improvements and the installation of new equipment.

• Collaborate in format changes and technical adjustments of machinery.

• Assist external companies during specialized interventions.

• Report the maintenance activities performed.

• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

• Reading and interpretation of electrical diagrams.

• Identification of electrical symbols.

• Differentiation between power circuits and control circuits.

• Searching for and locating electrical faults.

• Handling of multimeters.

• Handling of clamp meters.

• Measurement of AC and DC voltage and current.

• Continuity and insulation checks.

• Basic diagnosis through electrical measurements.

• Knowledge of the differences between preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Ability to execute established maintenance plans.

• Identification and resolution of technical incidents.

Basic knowledge of: electric motors, contactors, relays, timers, fuses, circuit breakers, residual current devices, direction reversal, electrical switching, and protections.

• Previous experience in industrial maintenance is valued.
