Requirements

What we're looking for

Higher Level Vocational Training in the industrial branch, especially in areas related to drafting, technical design, mechanical manufacturing, metal construction, or project development.
Knowledge of industrial technical drawing and blueprint reading.
Basic knowledge of 2D design and/or 3D modeling tools.
Interest in design, engineering, and new technologies applied to the industrial sector.
Eagerness to learn and to develop a specialized professional career in naval engineering and design.

Previous experience in the naval sector is not essential. We are looking for profiles with a good technical foundation and motivation to learn. At CT, you will have the opportunity to train and evolve within real projects.

Nice to have

Training or previous experience in 2D/3D design and modeling tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, or similar.
Knowledge of tools such as FORAN, Smart Marine/Smart 3D, Siemens NX, or similar.
Knowledge of ISO regulations and standards applicable to technical drawing and documentation.
Experience, internships, or training projects related to technical offices, drafting, or industrial design.
Basic knowledge of structures, piping, HVAC, electricity, or industrial/naval equipment.

The role

We are currently looking to recruit Drafters & Designers who want to start and develop their professional career in the naval sector.

We are looking for people with a good foundation in technical drawing and design and, above all, an interest in learning and specializing in naval design tools and methodologies. At CT, we will accompany you in that process of training and professional development.

What you'll do

You will join multidisciplinary naval design teams and progressively participate in activities such as:
Development and updating of 3D models of ship structures, equipment, systems, and installations.
Preparation of 2D drawings from the 3D model for manufacturing, assembly, and installation.
Preparation of bills of materials and technical documentation associated with the design.
Preparation and review of drawings in accordance with ISO regulations, technical drawing standards, and specific naval sector criteria.
Interpretation of blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation.
Review of design consistency and the correct integration of different elements within the 3D model.
Collaboration with other disciplines and professionals within the engineering teams.
