About the role

We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with solid experience in industrial projects, especially in piping systems and/or mechanical equipment in industrial plants, to perform the following functions:

  • Equipment and Piping Engineering: Preparation of technical specifications, data sheets, and engineering documentation for mechanical equipment (static and dynamic) and piping systems.
  • Technical Validation and Coordination: Supervising and validating the design, connection, and installation of piping systems, ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, and plant operational requirements.
  • Detailed Engineering Development: Preparation of technical requisitions, equipment datasheets, MTOs, BOQs, and generation/review of drawings and 2D/3D models.
  • Mechanical Analysis and Calculations: Performing and reviewing pipe stress calculations, support design, and mechanical analyses to ensure the integrity and reliability of installations.
  • Technical Support and Problem Solving: Identifying and managing complex technical issues during the engineering, construction, commissioning, and plant operation phases.
  • Technical Documentation Review: Interpreting and validating mechanical drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and associated documentation using tools such as AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
  • Technical Leadership: Providing technical criteria and expertise in engineering decision-making, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and acting as the technical reference within the project.
