Senior Mechanical Installations Engineer

• Preferably a Master's in Mechanical Engineering.

• Between 7 and 10 years of experience as Design and Technical Assistance Engineers on site for mechanical installations in critical infrastructure: Data Centers, Hospitals, Pharmaceuticals, Airports, industry, oil & gas.

• Experience in HVAC, Fire Protection (extinction and detection), Diesel, Plumbing, and Sanitation.

• Ability to work with a certain degree of autonomy, while also working in a team.

• Skills for management and direct dealings with clients and contractors.

• Eagerness to learn and develop in new areas of mechanical engineering.

• Orientation towards quality and performance.

• Knowledge of local and international standards.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Tools: Ms office, Autodesk Revit MEP, HAP, etc., projects.

• Knowledge of health and safety

• Meticulous, perfectionist profile, detail-oriented, anticipating the necessary construction details for an execution focused on project quality.

• High English level (spoken and written) B1-C2

Today we design the data centers of the future.

At this moment, we want to continue growing and are looking for engineering professionals with experience in mechanical design. The position is based in the site office, reporting to the Mechanical Director.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Participation in multidisciplinary projects. At Quark - Grupo Sener, we have all disciplines in-house.

• We develop projects in all their phases, from conception to construction. Your work will focus on the detailed design phase. Therefore, we need you to have construction knowledge to develop project details at the level of Execution Project, RIBA 4, RIBA 5 (shop drawings), integrating information from different manufacturers.

• We are looking for a profile with solid technical knowledge, who can contribute their experience to the various ongoing projects.

• Development of reports, drawings, justifications, and annexes.

• Experience in the implementation of BREEAM or LEED requirements in project development and specifications.

• Collaboration in the preparation of measurements.

• Support to the Project Management by reviewing how the design you previously created is being executed.

• Verify the setting out and adequacy of the installations.

• Approvals of equipment and proposed elements.

• Resolving issues during construction, issuing technical instructions, and preparing change orders.

• Verify the receipt of products and equipment.

• Reviewing As-built documentation.

• Control the correct execution of the works, checking setting out, materials, and their correct arrangement on site. Ensuring that mechanical installations are carried out in an appropriate, safe manner and in accordance with client and project standards.

• Supporting the Commissioning process.
