Nice to have
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field, and 8+ years of experience in accounting, reporting and consolidation, or financial controlling, ideally in a multinational environment. Fluent English is required. Big 4 experience followed by a role in Accounting, Reporting & Controlling and/or Internal Audit is nice to have.
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and consolidation, with a solid understanding of risk and control matrices, process design and implementation. Experience implementing processes, designing RACIs and managing projects is a plus.
Proven hands-on experience leading teams within a corporate environment, not only in audit.
Excellent stakeholder management and soft skills: you'll influence and depend on people you don't manage, so you'll need to coach colleagues, manage priorities and be realistic about what is a "must" and what is "good to have". Clear written and verbal communication is key.
Hands-on experience with financial reporting tools such as OneStream (SAP S/4HANA is a plus), proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace, and an analytical, organised, accountable mindset with strong attention to detail under strict deadlines.

Our goal is to provide an on-demand delivery infrastructure for every city in the world, and trusted financial reporting is what keeps that engine scalable. As Reporting and Controlling Manager, you will lead a team of 5-6 Accountant Controllers and report to the Director of Accounting and Reporting. You will own the timeliness and quality of Glovo's financial reporting to Delivery Hero, and strengthen the control environment around the financial close.
Own the global month-end close and the monthly reporting to Delivery Hero (TB, KPIs and FTEs), meeting deadlines and quality standards through ruthless prioritisation on materiality, processes and disclosures.
Review the IFRS financial statements of Glovo subsidiaries and group-level consolidation, investigating and correcting inconsistencies before they reach stakeholders.
Design and implement controls over the financial close using a risk and control matrix approach, setting realistic milestones and rolling them out in phases.
Partner with corporate and local accounting teams on month-end close, controls and coaching. Work through root-cause analysis together, map process gaps, design the improved process and implement it.
Define RACI models and embed the redesigned processes, ensuring the Reporting & Controlling team has controls in place to verify they operate as intended.
Lead projects on presentation and disclosure, IFRS treatment of reporting standards, and the ongoing refinement of our reporting tool (OneStream), while supporting HQ-led cross-accounting initiatives such as IFRS, ERP and reporting package implementations.
Coach and develop your team, and act as the main point of contact for Delivery Hero, the Finance Performance team and local finance teams on financial reporting.
