Accounting & Reporting Manager

We are looking for a manager to lead the accounting and reporting of the assigned perimeter, manage a team of 4-5 people, and guarantee reliable and timely closings. They will combine the control of daily operations with the gradual integration of processes and companies into the new model.

• * Lead the monthly and annual accounting closing for several companies: balance sheet quality, provisions, accruals, bank reconciliations, intercompany balances, and resolution of pending items.
• * Supervise the preparation and review of the group's financial reporting, reconciling local accounting
• * Act as the regular interlocutor for the reporting and accounting teams in the UK, anticipating closing issues and meeting group deadlines.
• * Coordinate audits, annual accounts, and supporting documentation, collaborating with Tax and external advisors on relevant accounting matters.
• * Direct, develop, and organize a team of 4-5 professionals; distribute workloads among companies and processes, establish priorities, and ensure quality without depending on last-minute personal reviews.
• * Participate in the migration of activities from OpCos to the Finance Hub, documenting procedures, improving controls, and eliminating rework between local and central levels.
• * Work with Finance Operations, FP&A, Payroll & Cash Flow, and Systems & Processes to resolve incidents, reconcile actuals with management reporting, and improve the information flow.

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial control, with effective responsibility over the closings and reporting of several entities.
• Experience managing and developing accounting teams.
• Solid foundation in Spanish accounting regulations and practical knowledge of IFRS and group reporting.
• Advanced English, oral and written, essential for interacting regularly and autonomously with the United Kingdom.
• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Valuable experience in international groups, multi-company environments, shared service centers, Big Four auditing, Business Central, and OneStream.
