Mechanical / Electronic UAV Production Technician

We are looking for a talented and motivated UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) Mechanical/Electronic Production Technician to join our dynamic production team. As part of the manufacturing and testing team, you will play a key role in the assembly, integration, and validation of systems.

• Manufacture and assemble various UAV components using materials such as sheet metal, fittings, composites, electronic components, and plastics. This may include drilling, sealing, soldering, wiring, and connecting according to technical specifications.
• Assemble, integrate, and install UAV components and systems according to work instructions and engineering drawings, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Participate in the integration of electronic and communication systems, collaborating with engineering and production at assembly and testing stations.
• Perform quality checks independently following quality instructions at various production stages, ensuring that components and subsystems meet specifications.
• Execute functional tests and basic testing and calibration procedures on both mechanical and electrical/electronic systems.
• Support diagnostic tasks and the resolution of mechanical and electronic issues during production and testing.
• Record and maintain technical documentation related to manufacturing processes, testing, quality inspections, and repairs.
• Collaborate on the continuous improvement of production processes, especially in the integration of new systems with higher electronic content.
• Comply with safety, quality, and applicable regulations during the manufacturing process.

In general, a UAV mechanical/electronic production technician plays a critical role in the production, maintenance, and quality assurance of UAV systems, contributing to their reliability, performance, and safety.

• Vocational training in Electronics, Telecommunications, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical fields.
• Previous experience (2–5 years) in industrial production environments, assembly, maintenance, or testing, ideally in technological, aerospace, or industrial sectors.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, wiring, and schematic reading.
• Interest and ability to work with electronic systems and new technological developments.
• Familiarity with quality processes and working under procedures.
• Attention to detail and a focus on precision.
• Communication skills and the ability to work in a team within technical environments.
• Spanish as the working language. Technical English is valued.
• Possible requirement for a security clearance depending on the project.

• Training or experience as a technician in telecommunications or electronics.
• Experience participating in test stations, validation, or system integration.
• Basic knowledge of networks, IP addressing, or communication protocols.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools or system analysis tools, such as test software or tools like Wireshark.
• Experience in environments where hardware, electronics, and software coexist.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new systems with higher electronic content.
