EM&E Group is a Spanish group, a leader in the design, development and manufacture of complex and innovative Defence and Security solutions, currently expanding and seeking the best talent.
We are looking for a Technical Lead for Mechanical and Structural Design to join a highly responsible and confidential engineering project in the defence sector.
What duties will be carried out in this position?
-Advanced Design (90%): You will be the core of technical development, directly designing the most critical mechanical and protection components of the assigned system.
-Complex Problem Solving: You will take on the conceptualisation, calculation and resolution of the project's greatest technical challenges.
-Management and Delegation: You will coordinate the assigned technical team, delegating and supervising the remaining modelling and detailing tasks according to each resource's capabilities.
-Operational Mobility: Availability for frequent travel within Spain (mainly to Córdoba) and occasional international travel.
-Higher Engineering Degree: Mechanical, Aerospace, Naval or equivalent qualification.
-Defence Experience: Demonstrable and solid track record in the design and/or manufacture of similar components within the military field.
-Technical Specialisation: Direct and demonstrable experience in defence projects focused on: Advanced structures.
-Armour and survivability systems (ballistic and mine protection).
-Elastic components (suspension, damping and energy absorption systems).
-Autonomy and Leadership: Ability to manage remote workflows and efficiently guide the team's technical development.
-Availability to travel within Spain.
