• Education: Intermediate or Higher Vocational Training (CFGM / CFGS) in Mechanical Manufacturing, Mechanical Assembly, Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in practical work and dexterity with measuring tools, part fitting, use of lasers in machinery, sealant application, structural assembly, tire mounting, mechanical adjustment, or integration of different structures in the industrial sector, especially in the automotive sector.
• Soft skills:
  • Great proactive attitude, initiative, and high motivation to learn and develop.
  • Agile person, with dynamism for practical problem-solving, excellent ability to adapt to production environments, and a clear orientation toward teamwork.
• Languages: Advanced Spanish.
• Technical knowledge: Structural adjustment and sealant application, electrical wiring handling, reading technical documentation (work sheets, blueprints, work orders), first-level quality inspections, and skillful handling of machinery and tools.

• Valuable: Basic or intermediate technical level of English.

An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical and Structural Integration Technician at Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).

The selected person will join the EF2000 Assembly and Integration Team, responsible for structural assembly, modifications, and mechanical integrations on the Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft. The team works in a high-precision manufacturing environment, managing raw materials, standard parts, wiring, and specialized technical documentation to deliver high-quality assemblies ready for inspection and testing.

The main tasks of the hired person will be:

• Perform high-precision mechanical assemblies, structural adjustments, and component integration according to technical instructions, work orders, and task sheets.
• Apply specialized structural sealants for the joining of aircraft parts and structural components.
• Execute structural modifications, repairs, and electrical wiring handling as required during the integration process.
• Perform first-level quality inspections on assembled parts and ensure full traceability with the associated production documentation.
• Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the assembly and integration workflow.
