Cybersecurity Operator

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Operator with demonstrated experience in the management and operation of cybersecurity technologies to join our IT team.

The project involves a hybrid working model (remote work and on-site presence in Madrid capital)

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of practical experience operating cybersecurity tools related to the following aspects:

• Data loss prevention
• Email analysis
• Antivirus
• Internet protection
• Vulnerability analysis and remediations

Key responsibilities:

• Security tool administration:
  • Configure, maintain, and update security solutions such as systems: antivirus, EDR, anti-Spam, SIEM platforms, DLP, etc.
  • Ensure the correct integration of these tools with the rest of the technological infrastructure.
• Policy and rule management
  • Implement and adjust security policies in the tools according to the company's cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Create and maintain filtering rules, white/blacklists, and access control configurations.
• Exception management
  • Evaluate and apply exception requests to security policies, ensuring the balance between functionality and protection.
  • Document and justify each exception in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitoring and maintenance
  • Supervise the operational status of security tools to ensure their availability and performance.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Automation and continuous improvement
  • Participate in the automation of repetitive tasks through scripts or orchestration tools.
  • Propose improvements in the configuration and use of tools to optimize their effectiveness.
• Collaboration and support
  • Work in coordination with other technical teams (networks, systems, development) to implement security controls.
  • Provide second-level technical support related to security tools.
• Documentation
  • Keep technical documentation of configurations, procedures, and changes made up to date.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and technologies.
