What we're looking for

  • Spanish nationality or legal residence in Spain.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Able Seaman (Deck).

  • Valid maritime certificates in accordance with STCW regulations.

  • Valid maritime medical certificate.

  • Availability for immediate or short-term embarkation.

  • Ability to work in a team and in an international environment.

The role

DFDS Spain is looking to hire Able Seamen (Deck) for a passenger and cargo vessel under the Spanish flag.

What you'll do

  • Carrying out navigation watches according to the instructions of the Officer of the Watch.

  • Berthing, unberthing, and anchoring maneuvers.

  • Maintenance, cleaning, and preservation of decks and equipment.

  • Loading and unloading operations when required.

  • Participation in emergency drills and compliance with onboard safety procedures.

How you'll work

  • Spanish employment contract.

  • Vessel with Spanish flag.

  • Embarkation regime according to the applicable collective agreement.

  • Joining a leading company in the maritime sector.

  • Salary and conditions according to the collective agreement and experience provided.
