  • Monitoring legal and regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance with local legislation.

  • Performing regular audits, inspections and workplace assessments.

  • Managing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives following audits and inspections.

Training, awareness and engagement

  • Delivering Health, Safety & Security training programmes.

  • Raising awareness through campaigns, workshops and engagement activities.

  • Supporting accident and incident investigations and ensuring lessons learned are effectively communicated.

  • Maintaining Health, Safety & Security procedures and related documentation.

  • Supporting reporting and performance monitoring through relevant KPIs and metrics.

Collaboration and stakeholder management

  • Working closely with Marine Standards and the DPA to ensure consistent safety standards across ship and shore operations.

  • Building strong relationships with managers, employees, contractors, authorities and external partners.

  • Supporting cross-functional initiatives that integrate safety principles into daily operations.

About you

You are passionate about creating safe workplaces and building a positive safety culture. You combine strong technical knowledge with excellent communication skills, enabling you to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

You are organised, pragmatic and confident working independently across multiple locations and operational environments.
