What we're looking for
{ following_qualifications_would_be_in_line_with_our_desired_profile_for_this_position: [
- Experience in software quality assurance and test automation for mobile applications, with a strong understanding of software testing principles, test design techniques, and risk-based testing.
- Hands-on experience with native mobile test automation frameworks such as XCUITest and/or Espresso, including different testing levels and approaches such as UI, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Programming experience with Swift, Kotlin, or comparable technologies, with an interest in continuously improving testing practices and automation coverage.
- Familiarity with testing on real devices and simulators/emulators, API validation and mocking, test environments, and test data management.
- Experience with one or more of the following is a plus: XCUITest, Espresso, device farms, mobile CI/CD pipelines, Jira Xray, GitLab.
- A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to communicate effectively in cross-functional environments.
- Fluency in English.

As a QA Engineer, you'll be the quality advocate within your team, helping shape testing practices, drive automation efforts, and ensure that reliable software is delivered with confidence. You'll work closely with developers, product stakeholders, and fellow engineers to build quality into every stage of the delivery process.
What you'll do

- Own and continuously improve the team's testing approach for our iOS and Android apps, becoming the go-to person for testing topics in an agile environment.
- Ensure test readiness across infrastructure, devices, simulators/emulators, environments, and test data to enable smooth and reliable execution.
- Design, implement, and expand automated test coverage for our mobile apps, including UI, integration, and end-to-end testing, as well as the underlying API integrations.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product stakeholders to identify risks, clarify requirements, and prevent defects early in the development lifecycle.
- Analyze test failures and defects, support root-cause analysis, and identify recurring quality issues and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Share regular testing insights, results, and quality metrics with stakeholders, supporting informed release decisions.
- Contribute to Continuous Testing and Continuous Delivery practices, helping the team improve quality while maintaining delivery speed.
