Maintenance Technician

Experience:

• More than 3 years of experience in a similar position. It is valuable to have worked in industrial production environments or plant/production line maintenance.

Education:

• Valuable technical knowledge:

- Experience in the graphic arts machinery sector: replacement of rollers, bearings, belts, gears

- Knowledge of KBA printing machines, punching machines, folders, binding lines, guillotines, etc.

- Basic mechanics / electromechanics in industrial or automation environments.

- Notions of Occupational Risk Prevention and Industrial Safety.

• Intermediate or Higher Vocational Training Cycle in Electromechanical Maintenance, Electronics, Electricity, Electrotechnical Installations, or similar.

• Corrective and preventive maintenance: diagnosis and repair of breakdowns in offset printers (KBA), digital printing, folders, stitchers, guillotines, and binders. Replacement of rollers, bearings, belts, and gears, as well as blade replacement and lubrication.

• Electrical and electronic diagnosis: interpretation of problems in electrical panels, reading of diagrams, and analysis of electronic signals for the rapid localization of machine faults.

• User support: rapid assistance to machine operators during incidents.

• Decision making: direct resolution of incidents to minimize waste and bottlenecks.

• Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP): strict compliance with industrial safety protocols in the workshop, verification of machinery protection systems, and proper handling of products.

• Teamwork: continuous collaboration with all plant personnel to coordinate interventions, solve breakdowns jointly, and optimize workflow.

• Compliance with standards: maintenance of order and cleanliness to avoid accidents and prevent damage.

• Full-time; Monday to Friday, rotating morning and afternoon shifts. (Possibility of night shifts only on an occasional or one-off basis; not habitual).
