Warehouse Worker

Responsibilities

• Physical warehouse and logistics operations: loading, unloading, and manual handling of high-tonnage/high-volume technical materials for engineering projects.
• Order management and packing lists: receiving materials, physically preparing project stockpiles, and strict traceability control using codes.
• Reverse logistics: receiving material returned upon completion of works, reviewing it, and cross-checking against the initial inventory.
• Machinery operation: continuous operation of forklifts, overhead cranes (and backhoe loaders valued).
• Field audits: occasional travel (domestic/international) to carry out on-site counts and inventories.

Requirements

• Physical capacity and fitness: the role involves a consistently high physical demand (lifting and manually handling heavy loads, stowing, and moving technical material).
• Essential: valid B driving license (C/C+E truck license highly valued).
• Demonstrable experience: regular handling of forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Flexibility for very occasional travel to project sites.
• Availability to join a rotating on-call rota every 6 weeks (incidents outside regular working hours).

• Working hours: A schedule that allows you to balance work and life: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Afternoon off!).

Funciones

• Operativa física de almacén y logística: carga, descarga y manipulación manual de materiales técnicos de gran tonelaje/volumen para proyectos de ingeniería.
• Gestión de pedidos y Packing Lists: recepción de material, preparación física de acopios para proyectos y control estricto de trazabilidad mediante códigos.
• Logística inversa: recepción del material devuelto al finalizar las obras, revisión y contraste con el inventario inicial.
• Manejo de maquinaria: operaciones continuas con carretilla elevadora, puente grúa (y valorable retroexcavadora).
• Auditorías en campo: desplazamientos puntuales (nacionales/internacionales) para realizar recuentos e inventarios in situ.

Requisitos

• Capacidad y condición física: el puesto conlleva una alta exigencia física habitual (levantamiento y manipulación manual de cargas pesadas, estibaje y movimiento de material técnico).
• Imprescindible: carnet B en vigor (carnet de camión C/C+E muy valorable).
• Experiencia demostrable: manejo habituado de carretillas elevadoras y puente grúa.
• Flexibilidad para viajes muy puntuales a obra.
• Disponibilidad para entrar en cuadrante rotativo de guardias cada 6 semanas (incidencias fuera de horario habitual).

• Horario laboral: Un horario que te permitirá conciliar: Lunes a jueves: de 08:00h a 13:00h y de 14:00h a 17:00h. Viernes: de 08:00h a 14:00h (¡Tarde libre!).
