Requirements

What we're looking for

Training in Electronic, Industrial, or Telecommunications Engineering.
Advanced level of English, both written and spoken.
Professional experience of around 5 years in hardware development for electronic equipment.
Experience in analog and power circuit design.
Experience in digital circuit design, including communication buses, memories, or programmable devices.

Nice to have

Knowledge or experience in any of the following areas will be additionally valued:

Actuators and sensors.
Motor control.
Microprocessor and/or FPGA development environments.
Regulations applicable to the sector (ECSS, IPC, MIL...).
Standard communication interfaces (RS232/RS422, I2C, SPI, CAN bus, Ethernet...).

The role

At Sener Aeroespacial y Defensa, thanks to the growth of our projects in the Space and Defence field, we want to expand our team by incorporating experienced professionals as a Hardware Development Engineer for electronic equipment.

What you'll do

You will integrate into a multidisciplinary team (hardware, control, software, and mechanics) that develops electronic equipment for applications such as antenna pointing systems, robotic couplings and anchors, telescope focusing or scanning systems, among others.

In your day-to-day, you will be involved in:

Requirements analysis of electronic equipment, collaborating with more senior profiles on the team.
Electronic design at the schematic level, as well as support in PCB positioning and routing tasks.
Performing analog and digital simulations.
The definition and execution of hardware functional tests, also participating in environmental testing campaigns.
Preparation of technical documentation associated with the developments.
Participation in internal and client technical reviews, accompanied by the senior team.
