  • Manage and maintain the inventory of spare parts, consumables, and tools needed for equipment maintenance, ensuring their timely availability and managing replenishment with suppliers.
  • Accurately document all maintenance activities performed, including repair details, replaced parts, work hours, and any relevant incidents, using computerized maintenance

record systems.

  • Collaborate on continuous improvement projects with other departments to optimize operational efficiency, improve equipment performance, and reduce costs, proposing innovations in processes and technology.
  • Participate in the training and instruction of operational staff in preventive maintenance procedures, as well as in safety practices and the proper handling of equipment and tools.
  • Stay up to date on electrical and industrial maintenance technologies and regulations, participating in professional training programs, seminars, and conferences relevant to the aluminum industry.
  • Comply with and promote compliance with safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations, maintaining an active safety culture and participating in internal and external audits.
  • Develop and follow predictive maintenance plans based on equipment operating and wear data, using condition monitoring tools and failure analysis to anticipate potential breakdowns.

Education & certifications

Intermediate or Advanced Vocational Training (GM/GS) in Electricity and Electronics, Industrial Automation, or similar.

Languages

Correctly spoken and written Spanish.

How you'll work

Full-time position of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on a rotating shift of morning, afternoon, and night, between 06:00 and 00:00, with breaks established by law.
