Cloud and Applications Technical Lead – GCP

A person with practical experience in several of these areas:

• Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud environments.
• PostgreSQL / SQL.
• Docker.
• Git / GitHub.
• REST APIs.
• CI/CD.
• Logging and monitoring.
• Backups and recovery.
• Security, permissions, and secrets management.
• Operation and maintenance of applications in production.

It is necessary to be able to understand and modify existing code, but we are not looking for a profile focused solely on traditional programming. The client is relying on tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, and equivalents to accelerate development, testing, analysis, and documentation.

We are looking for a Cloud/Applications Engineer to take technical responsibility for internal applications once they move to production: deployment, maintenance, databases, monitoring, incident resolution, updates, backups, cloud costs, and technical evolution.

We work mainly on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and use Artificial Intelligence tools intensively to develop and evolve applications.

• Maintain and operate enterprise applications in production.
• Diagnose and resolve errors, bugs, outages, and incidents.
• Manage infrastructure in GCP: Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Storage, IAM, Secret Manager, Logging, and Monitoring.
• Administer PostgreSQL databases.
• Configure backups, restorations, and recovery mechanisms.
• Manage versions, Git/GitHub, DEV/STAGING/PROD environments, and CI/CD processes.
• Prepare and deploy updates without compromising production stability.
• Maintain rollback mechanisms.
• Review and optimize Google Cloud costs.
• Develop new functionalities and applications using AI tools.
• Participate in integrations with APIs, ERP, CRM, and other systems.
• Document architecture, configurations, and technical procedures.
