We are looking for Waste Collection Drivers to provide service in Valladolid (Castilla y León). Selected individuals will participate in the provision of urban waste collection services, contributing to the correct functioning of the service and the maintenance of optimal cleanliness and health conditions in the municipalities.

What you'll do

The main duties will be:

• Operate waste collection trucks (side, rear, or top loading), complying with traffic and road safety regulations.

• Support collection personnel in loading containers or bags when necessary, especially in rear-loading or manual services.

• Faithfully follow the established routes and frequencies for collection, guaranteeing service coverage according to the contract.

• Perform basic vehicle inspections before and after service (levels, tires, lights, hydraulic systems, etc.).

• Collaborate in the cleaning and maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any anomaly or need for repair.

• Transport collected waste to the authorized discharge point (treatment plant, landfill, etc.), following established protocols.

• Complete work reports, route sheets, mileage control, and fuel consumption, according to internal procedures.

• Apply occupational risk prevention regulations both in driving and in auxiliary tasks, using the corresponding PPE.

• Inform superiors of any service incident, accident, breakdown, or anomalous situation detected during the working day.

• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude on public roads, especially in residential or high-traffic areas.

• Identify and report non-conforming or hazardous waste detected during collection, according to established protocols.

• Adapt to different types of vehicles, shifts, or routes according to service needs.

How you'll work

Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 13:00.
