Cleaning of waste and debris from streets and other spaces, such as sidewalks, using hand or mechanical tools such as brushes, brooms, or blower machines.
What activities will you be performing?
1. Mechanical sweeping of sidewalks and pedestrian areas using mechanical suction sweepers or porter-type vehicles.
2. Brush cleaning of tree pits, drains, gullies, grates, roadside gutters, vacant lots, trash cans, benches, and containers.
3. Blower cleaning in mixed sweeping tasks.
4. Collection of container overflows, excrement and waste from public roads, dead animals, and other debris using rear-loading compactor collection vehicles.
5. Emptying of trash cans.
