Currently, we are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer - Endpoint Protection
We are looking for a cybersecurity professional with solid experience in the administration of Microsoft Windows Enterprise environments and in Endpoint Detection and Response technologies, especially CrowdStrike Falcon. The ideal person will possess analytical capacity for threat investigation, experience in incident response and Threat Hunting activities, as well as skills to collaborate effectively with SOC and IT Operations teams in order to maintain a secure, resilient endpoint environment aligned with regulatory compliance requirements.
What you'll do
- Administration, operation, and maintenance of the corporate endpoint security ecosystem, including CrowdStrike Falcon and other complementary security technologies.
- Management of detection policies, prevention rules, IOC/IOA configurations, exclusions, host groups, and security baselines.
- Continuous monitoring of endpoint security alerts and investigation of suspicious activities affecting workstations and servers.
- Identification, analysis, containment, and remediation of cybersecurity incidents using CrowdStrike Falcon and other security monitoring platforms.
- Investigation of malware infections, unauthorized access attempts, suspicious processes, privilege escalation activities, and advanced persistent threats (APT).
- Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive measures to reduce future security risks.
- Coordination and implementation of Microsoft security updates, Windows patches, and firmware updates.
- Security vulnerability assessment and support in remediation activities to reduce organizational exposure.
- Verification of patch compliance and validation of the security status of managed endpoints.
- Implementation of secure configurations and hardening policies based on the ENS (National Security Framework), CCN-STIC guides, CIS Benchmarks, and industry best practices.
- Assessment and verification of compliance with security standards and corporate policies.
- Support in security audits and assessments related to endpoint protection.
- Administration of secure remote access technologies, VPN services, digital certificates, authentication mechanisms, and security controls for devices used by remote personnel.
- Application of security compliance requirements in remote and hybrid work scenarios.
- Continuous monitoring of endpoint telemetry and security events.
- Performance of proactive Threat Hunting activities leveraging CrowdStrike Falcon capabilities, threat intelligence sources, and security analysis tools.
- Identification of anomalous behaviors and new attack techniques that may affect the organization.
- Preparation of operational and executive security reports, including threat trends, incident metrics, vulnerability status, and compliance indicators.
- Contribution to the evolution of endpoint protection strategies and cybersecurity processes.
- Collaboration with SOC, Incident Response, Infrastructure, and IT Operations teams to strengthen global cybersecurity resilience.
