Museum Gallery Assistant

We would like to incorporate a person with great communication skills, capable of transmitting knowledge and capturing the attention of visitors during guided tours, with sensitivity to art and heritage, an orientation toward offering a quality cultural experience, and the ability to manage groups in dynamic and international environments, providing proximity, professionalism, and ease of communicating in different languages.

The Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation is looking to incorporate a dynamic, responsible, and visitor-oriented person to join the team at the Teatre-Museu Gala-Salvador Dalí in Figueres, Portlligat, and Púbol as a Gallery Assistant.

The selected person will have a key role in accompanying visitors, conducting guided tours and guaranteeing an enriching cultural experience, while also watching over the correct functioning and safety of the exhibition rooms.

• Conduct guided tours for visitors.

• Explain the works and exhibition contents, adapting the discourse to different audiences.

• Facilitate a quality cultural experience and resolve visitors' doubts.

• Supervise and control activities in the different assigned rooms.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and the protection of the artworks.

• Provide assistance and general information about the museum and the exhibitions.

• Maintain a calm and orderly environment within the exhibition rooms.

• Collaborate with other team members on support tasks, such as access control, reservation management, and preparing the rooms for visits, when necessary.
