• Minimum 2 years of experience as an SAP FI consultant
• Demonstrable experience in support and parameterization
• Functional knowledge in SAP SD (ideally in retail environments)
• Experience in ABAP programming or similar languages
• SAP FI: GL, AP, AR, AA, financial closings
• SAP SD: pricing, invoicing, orders, returns, POS integration
• ABAP (basic/intermediate level)
• Knowledge of debugging and technical analysis
• Understanding of financial, commercial, and logistical processes specific to retail
• Analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset
• Effective communication with business users and technical teams
• Teamwork and autonomy
• Organization, time management, and ability to work in dynamic environments
• Proactivity and orientation toward the internal customer

• SAP Certifications (FI or SD) are positively valued

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or similar
• Specific training in SAP FI and knowledge of SAP SD

GENERAL OPTICA, a leader in visual health and audiology services in Spain and Portugal, is incorporating the position of SAP FI / SD Consultant within the Systems Area.

To guarantee the correct operation, evolution, and support of the SAP FI and SAP SD modules in a retail environment, ensuring the integration between financial and sales processes. Additionally, to provide technical capacity through programming knowledge (preferably ABAP) to develop, adapt, or improve functionalities that optimize business operations.

• Parameterize and maintain financial processes: general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, monthly and annual closings.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Manage incidents and improvement requests within the financial scope.
• Ensure correct FI-SD and FI-CO integration.
• Support and configuration of sales processes: orders, deliveries, invoicing, pricing, returns.
• Participate in the optimization of store, e-commerce, and omnichannel processes.
• Collaborate in the integration with POS systems, online sales platforms, and logistics tools.
• Develop or modify ABAP programs related to FI and SD (reports, user-exits, BAdIs, forms, interfaces).
• Participate in the design and maintenance of interfaces with external systems (POS, CRM, payment platforms, etc.).
• Perform unit, integrated, and regression testing.
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams on continuous improvement projects.
