Machining Center / Lathe Operator in Vitoria-gasteiz

We are currently looking for a MACHINING CENTER OPERATOR and a LATHE OPERATOR for VITORIA, from our VALLADOLID branch.

We tell you the main requirements and other skills for the position:

Machine preparation: Assembly and adjustment of tools in the warehouse and preparation of clamping systems. Centering of parts and zero part setting using probes or measuring tools.

Loading of CNC programs, execution of machining cycles and supervision of the milling/boring process.

Parameter adjustment: Optimization and correction of tool wear and modification of feeds/speeds if necessary. In-process dimensional inspection of parts using metrology tools.

Machine preparation: Changing and aligning jaws or collets on the chuck, and mounting cutting inserts in the tool turret.

Adjustment of geometric and wear correctors on the X and Z axes (and C axis / powered tools if applicable). Material feeding, execution of the CNC program and supervision of the turning and threading cycle.

Chip control: Constant supervision of the process to avoid tangling of long chips and ensure proper material evacuation.

Rigorous measurement of the diameters, lengths and surface finishes of the produced parts using thread gauges, external/internal micrometers and alexometers.

Requirements

Vocational training in Machining, Mechanical Manufacturing or similar.

Experience: Minimum 2 years working with 3, 4 or 5-axis CNC Machining Centers / Minimum 1 year operating and installing CNC Lathes.

Interpretation of drawings and demanding geometric and dimensional tolerances.

Experience in the selection and installation of turning tools.

Fluent handling of common CNC controls.

Expert use of traditional industrial measuring tools.

Driver's license and own vehicle.

Availability for immediate incorporation.

Salary: 13.23€/h.
