- Several years of professional experience in accounting (at least 5 years) with a clear focus on Accounts Receivable (A/R) or receivables management.
- Industry knowledge in E-Commerce / Marketplace / Multichannel: You understand the specifics of Amazon, Zalando, and Co. - fee structures, settlements, chargebacks, returns.
- In-depth knowledge of international VAT reporting - OSS (One-Stop-Shop), VAT advance returns (USt-VA), and recapitulative statements (ZM) are daily business for you.
- Confident system competence: DATEV, SAP, NetSuite, or comparable ERP/accounting systems; experience with E-Commerce accounting tools (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce integrations, marketplace APIs) is a plus.
- Proven success in building and automating finance processes - you think in systems, not in individual cases.
- Ability to provide functional leadership: passing on knowledge, ensuring quality, remaining composed in escalations, developing the team.
- German language skills (C1) and good English skills - local and international requirements appeal to you.

Glow25 is scaling: via marketplaces (Amazon, Zalando, DM), multiple countries, various payment service providers - and our accounting must keep up. Our finance team is building a modern A/R landscape that can withstand these complexities. We need an experienced Senior A/R Manager (all genders) who thinks in processes, drives automation, and provides functional leadership at the same time.

You will restructure the Order2Cash process - from automated marketplace settlement to intelligent cash application and error-proof international reporting.

Processes & Scaling
- You will further develop our accounting system landscape and drive automation throughout the entire Order2Cash process - from marketplace settlement to posting.
- You will structure our international reporting (OSS, VAT returns, recapitulative statements) and merge them into a unified, tool-supported process for all countries.
- You will optimize Cash Application and bank reconciliation across all payment service providers (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, Amazon Payments).
- You will prepare our processes for new countries and channels and build DSO & Revenue Reporting that makes our A/R performance measurable.

Functional Leadership
- You will be the escalation point for complex cases - from disputed invoices to clarification cases with marketplaces to compliance edge cases.
- You will ensure the quality of our bookings and reports through sampling and clear standards.
- You will pass on your process know-how to the team and ensure reliable substitution arrangements.

Operational
- You will coordinate and be responsible for the A/R portion of the monthly closing and ensure a reliable, fast close.
- You will systematically determine and post accruals at the end of the month.
- You will provide functional input when new sales channels or countries are connected.
