The role

We are looking for a freelance SAP Finance Consultant with at least 8 years of experience in SAP FI/CO and specialization in Joint Venture Accounting (JVA). You will join an ERP transformation project that includes the migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.

You will be responsible for the functional analysis and design of the Joint Venture model in S/4HANA, including cutback and pre-consolidation logic. You will define custom developments on top of standard functionality and provide support for the migration of JV structures. You will work in close collaboration with the rest of the project's financial workstreams.

This collaboration is intended for independent consultants with an extensive track record in SAP Finance seeking a large-scale transformation project, with full dedication and the flexibility of remote work.

What you'll do

Functional analysis and design of the Joint Venture model in SAP S/4HANA, including cutback and pre-consolidation logic.
Definition of custom developments on top of standard SAP functionality to cover specific business operating scenarios, such as intercompany eliminations and allocations between partners.
Coordination with the Document Splitting workstream to ensure consistent allocation criteria by Joint Venture.
Support for the migration of Joint Venture structure data from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
Collaboration with functional, technical, and business teams to align solutions with project objectives.
Participation in testing, validation, and functional documentation cycles.
