Requirements

Education & certifications

Degree in Psychopedagogy, Pedagogy, Psychology with a specialization in educational guidance, or Educational Psychology. A Degree in Primary Education with a mention in Therapeutic Pedagogy and a Master's in Educational Guidance is highly valued.
Complementary and specialized training in learning difficulties, mediation, learning disorders, attention to diversity, educational legislation, tutoring action, etc., is highly valued.

Languages

A high level of English is valued.

The role

The Colegio CEU Jesús María de Alicante is looking to incorporate an Educational Counselor for the Primary Education stage.

What you'll do

Assessment of learning difficulties in the primary stage.
Provide psychopedagogical guidance to students, families, and the teaching staff.
Advise on the preparation and development of the center's Guidance and Tutoring Action Plan.
Design and coordinate educational guidance actions.
Participate actively in attention to diversity.
Perform school mediation functions.
Deliver workshops aimed at families, students, and teachers, as well as develop training content and materials.
Collaborate in the management and support of mentoring programs.

Experience

Accredited professional experience in the area of clinical psychology or in psychopedagogical clinics with primary school students.
Previous experience in guidance departments of educational centers or similar psychopedagogical activities will be valued.
Having worked with students in an academic environment will be positively valued.
