About the role

Abat Oliba CEU University is seeking a People Technician to join the People Area.

We are looking for a committed, organized, and service-oriented person who wants to develop professionally in a university environment aligned with values and focused on supporting people.

What you'll do

The selected candidate will join the People team and will carry out, among others, the following functions:

• Administrative management of staff (hiring, terminations, contracts, extensions, and finalizations).

• Support in the payroll management process (payroll, costs, taxes, etc.)

• Support in the recruitment and onboarding processes for teaching and research staff (PDI) and administrative and service staff (PTGAS).

• Collaboration in the organization and follow-up of training activities.

• Maintenance and updating of people information in the internal tools of the People Area.

• Providing support and advice to staff on employment matters.

• Support in the application of labor regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

• Support in occupational risk prevention tasks.

• Participation in cross-departmental projects within the People Area.

Requirements

• University degree in Labor Relations, Psychology, Business Administration and Management (ADE), Law, or a related field.

• Minimum prior experience of 1-3 years in Human Resources / People departments.

• Solid knowledge of labor legislation and personnel management.

• Advanced proficiency in office software tools.

• Experience in educational or institutional environments is a plus.

• Additional training in People Management or Human Resources is a plus.
