Requirements

What we're looking for

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a machine operator.
Demonstrable experience operating backhoe loaders of more than 20 tons.
Experience and ability to perform slope grading and profiling.
Ability to work independently and responsibly.
Leadership skills and ability for organization and team coordination.
Commitment to the proper use, maintenance, and conservation of machinery.
Category C or C+E driving licence.
Training in Occupational Risk Prevention related to machinery and earthmoving.
Previous experience in waste management, quarries, or recycling plants.
Experience with other types of heavy machinery.

The role

From GRUPO CRIT, a leading Human Resources management company, we are selecting a Heavy Machinery Operator to join an important, established company in the waste management sector, located in Motril (Granada).

We are looking for a professional with experience in operating backhoe loaders of more than 20 tons, especially in waste loading tasks, stockpile management, and sloping and grading, who wants to join a stable project.

What you'll do

Operation of backhoe loaders of more than 20 tons in waste loading and stockpile management tasks.
Execution and sloping and grading of embankments, guaranteeing a quality finish.
Coordination of machinery work at the site.
Performing daily inspections and basic maintenance of machinery.
Greasing and level control.
Immediate communication of breakdowns or incidents.
Compliance with and supervision of safety regulations at the work front.
Correct use and conservation of equipment.
