Project Engineer

• Higher degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Engineering, or similar.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar positions, preferably in the food sector.

• Knowledge of production processes, industrial automation, and processing/packaging machinery.

• Experience in project management.

• Analytical capacity, results orientation, and skills for managing multidisciplinary teams.

• Knowledge of food safety regulations (IFS) is recommended.

At PASTAS GALLO, we are looking for a Project Engineer to join our TA-TUNG workplace, located in Sant Vicenç dels Horts. The selected person will be responsible for coordinating, developing, and executing industrial projects, guaranteeing operational efficiency, food safety, and the continuous improvement of production processes. They will be part of the plant's Engineering team.

• Lead engineering projects focused on process improvement, implementation of new technologies, and optimization of production lines.

• Manage the installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment and industrial machinery.

• Collaborate with the Production, Maintenance, and Quality departments to ensure the correct execution of projects.

• Perform technical analyses and feasibility studies for new investments.

• Supervise external suppliers and contractors, ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, and quality standards.

• Propose technical solutions that contribute to energy efficiency, sustainability, and the reduction of operating costs.

• Ensure regulatory compliance regarding safety, hygiene, and applicable food legislation.

• Prepare technical documentation and progress reports, reporting to the plant's Engineering Manager.

• Support the maintenance department in monitoring actions related to industrial safety.
