About the role

At Grupo Planeta we are looking for a Facility Technician for our offices in Madrid. Your mission will be to plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive, corrective, and legal maintenance of buildings and facilities, ensuring regulatory compliance and providing operational support for incidents and interventions.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Operational management:
    • Monitoring preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC, electrical, fire protection, elevator, cleaning, and other systems.
    • Coordinating interventions with suppliers.
    • Managing incidents and ensuring their resolution within deadlines.
  • Documentation and regulatory management:
    • Managing legal technical documentation (RITE, REBT, OCA inspections, etc.).
    • Uploading documentation and monitoring compliance.

Requirements

What would we like to see on your CV?

  • Advanced Vocational Training (Maintenance of Facilities, Electricity or similar) or Technical Engineering / Engineering Degree (Industrial, Technical, Building or similar).
  • Between 2 and 5 years of experience in Facility Management, maintenance or property management positions.
  • Previous experience in large retail distribution, organized restaurant chains, retail or multi-site chains.
  • National geographic mobility for occasional visits as required by operational needs.
  • Valuable experience in multi-site or retail maintenance.
  • Technical knowledge: Electrical installations; HVAC and climate control; Technical regulations applicable to commercial buildings; Maintenance management through CMMS/CAFM; Microsoft Office (intermediate-advanced Excel); ERP and maintenance management platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of fire protection systems, plumbing, locksmithing, commercial shutters, minor construction work and finishes.
