At ySondos, we are looking for an Electrical Drafter for a project at Ferroglobe, focused on the review, organization, and fine-tuning of their electrical documentation, in which single-line diagrams predominate.
The company has hundreds of drawings produced over the years using different drafting criteria. We are looking for an autonomous person with AutoCAD proficiency who can advise on standardization and execute the necessary improvements.
During the first two weeks, you will review existing drawings, assess the necessary actions, and estimate the time required for their fine-tuning. This evaluation will allow for the definition of the scope and the planning of the subsequent work.
Review and interpret existing electrical drawings, mainly single-line diagrams.
Propose a homogeneous structure to organize the files and sheets for each installation.
Create and configure layouts for each sheet, including their formats, title blocks, viewports, and scales.
Configure the plotter and the print or PDF output, unifying paper sizes, line weights, and plot styles.
Standardize layers, lettering, symbology, and templates.
Create blocks and reusable symbol libraries compatible with AutoCAD LT.
Update drawings and establish guidelines to facilitate their subsequent maintenance.
You will work with AutoCAD LT 2026, accessing a specific company computer connected to the network via remote desktop. The documentation will be stored on their private server.
