At ySondos we are looking for a Project Planner for an important client in the metal sector located in Avilés (Asturias).

You will provide support to Operations Management and Project Managers in planning, monitoring, and controlling projects, ensuring deadlines are met and detecting deviations in time through advanced use of MS Project.

What will your day-to-day look like?

• You will prepare and maintain project schedules in MS Project (timelines, critical paths, milestones, and resources);

• You will monitor actual progress against the schedule

• You will identify schedule deviations and propose corrective measures

• You will coordinate with Project Managers, Production, Engineering, and Procurement to keep the schedule up to date

• You will prepare status and schedule reports for Management

• You will support the standardization of scheduling criteria across projects

• You will participate in internal and client follow-up meetings as needed.

• Proven experience as a project planner, using MS Project; this is essential for the proper performance of the role.

• If you also have experience in industrial environments, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or assembly, even better!

• Strong command of Excel for analysis and reporting. Having analytical skills and a clear focus on deadlines will make your day-to-day easier.

• If you have a technical background (Industrial Engineering, Industrial Organization, or similar), it will be highly valued.

• Intermediate level of technical English.
