The role

At ySondos we are looking for a Health and Safety Director to join an industrial group with an international presence and take on the definition and deployment of its corporate Health and Safety model.

This will be a strategic position, with a high level of autonomy, in which you will combine corporate vision and on-site presence, working with different centers, projects, and geographies.

What you'll do

  • You will define and deploy the corporate Health and Safety strategy for the Group's different companies, centers, and projects.

  • You will design, implement, and supervise the corporate OHS management system, ensuring homogeneous criteria and standards.

  • You will guarantee legal and regulatory compliance regarding Health and Safety across different geographies.

  • You will coordinate audits, inspections, and improvement plans, monitoring corrective and preventive actions.

  • You must have extensive experience, more than 10 years, in responsibility positions in Health and Safety, preferably in industrial and multinational environments.

  • Experience developing or leading corporate OHS models and direct experience in high-risk operational environments: industrial plants, assembly, construction sites, or international projects, will be essential for the performance of your duties.

  • You must possess the ability to combine strategic and corporate vision with a very operational and on-site orientation.

  • We require you to have the following training: Higher Degree in Engineering, Occupational Sciences, or similar + Master's in Occupational Risk Prevention with all three specialties.

  • Knowledge of Health and Safety management systems, national and international legislation, audits, risk management, KPIs, and incident investigation.

  • High level of English, spoken and written, is essential.

  • Previous experience in international environments will be valued.
