Electromechanical Maintenance Technician

• Intermediate or Higher Degree training in Electromechanical Maintenance, Industrial Mechatronics, Industrial Automation and Robotics, Electricity and Electronics, or similar.
• Previous experience in industrial maintenance, especially in fault diagnosis and resolution.
• Ability to connect to PLCs, interpret signal status, diagnose faults, and perform parameter adjustments.
• Experience working with frequency drives, sensors, electric motors, and automated systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and use diagnostic tools.
• Autonomy, initiative, and problem-solving ability.

• We will positively value: Knowledge of Siemens PLCs (TIA Portal, STEP 7) and other industrial automation brands. Experience in modifying and adjusting parameters for drives, servomotors, and control systems. Knowledge of industrial communication networks (PROFINET, PROFIBUS, Ethernet/IP).

At GURPEA, a leading company in industrial services, engineering, and automation, we are looking to hire an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician with knowledge of industrial electronics and PLC diagnostics to perform maintenance tasks in industrial facilities.

We are looking for a resourceful person, with technical autonomy and the ability to identify, diagnose, and solve faults in industrial machinery and equipment.

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of industrial machinery and facilities.
• Diagnose and solve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic faults.
• Connect to industrial PLCs to perform fault diagnostics, interpret input and output signals, and locate faults in automation systems.
• Perform queries, adjustments, and parameter modifications in PLCs, frequency drives, and other industrial electronic equipment, in accordance with established procedures.
• Identify and resolve incidents in sensors, actuators, motors, encoders, drives, and control systems.
• Interpret electrical diagrams, mechanical blueprints, and technical documentation for machinery.
• Perform signal and communication checks between automation equipment.
• Replace, adjust, and commission electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.
• Collaborate in the continuous improvement of equipment, proposing solutions to reduce faults and optimize operation.
• Record the interventions performed and ensure compliance with industrial safety procedures.

• Schedule from Monday to Friday, in three rotating shifts: morning, afternoon, and night.
