Hexcel is currently seeking a Laboratory Engineer (replacement) for our Parla location (Spain).

The selected individual will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

• Manage the physical-chemical and mechanical laboratory to achieve certification targets
• Maintain and upgrade GLIMS as needed
• Support the plant, customers, or other Hexcel sites in all matters related to testing or laboratory results
• Coordinate ongoing training for laboratory technicians and new laboratory recruits
• Review customer and internal specifications related to testing, and release test results

• Experience as a group coordinator
• Degree in Chemistry or Engineering
• Experience in composite materials testing
• English speaking
• Advanced proficiency in data software (Microsoft, Minitab)

• Manage the Phys-chem and mechanical lab to achieve certification targets
• Maintain and upgrade GLIMS as needed
• Support the plant, customers or other Hexcel sites in all issues related to results or lab testing
• Coordinate continuous training of lab technicians and lab new recruitments
• Review customer and internal specifications related to testing, and release test requirements
