The role

BETWEEN Group is looking for a Chemical Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. You will be responsible for optimizing and developing industrial processes, with a particular focus on cogeneration and biomass plants. Your work will be fundamental to ensuring the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of our operations. We are looking for a proactive professional, with great analytical and problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement.

What you'll do

Preparation of basic and detailed engineering for biomass plant projects, refineries, and offshore as well as onshore projects.
Development of BFD, PFD, and P&ID diagrams.
Preparation of hydraulic calculations.
Preparation of mass and energy balances.
Performing equipment sizing (tanks, piping lines, pumps, towers).
Preparation of equipment data sheets and technical specifications.
Application and review of national and international regulations.
Draft technical documentation.
Participation in process risk analysis workshops (HAZOP, HAZID, and What-If).
