About the role

At the Head Offices in Madrid, we are looking for a Revenue Manager to perform the following duties:

What you'll do

  • Implement revenue management and distribution processes for 5-star hotels located in the assigned area, with the aim of maximizing total revenue across all departments of these hotels (ancillary revenue).
  • Analyze market dynamics and monitor competitor pricing to increase revenue and RevPar, as well as RGI penetration, for the hotels in the assigned portfolio.
  • Gather the necessary information to establish a database of reservations and events on which the strategy and forecasting for the hotels will be based.
  • Establish an effective pricing strategy, as well as inventory control, for all channels and segments.
  • Monitor in statistical format and study pick-up patterns, booking lead times, and commercial trends.
  • Generate sales forecasts and budgets for the hotels in the portfolio. Weekly forecasts. Segment forecasts.
  • Quote group pricing requests jointly with the Commercial Department.
  • Ensure that all target market segments are developed for the long-term benefit of the hotel business.
  • Work with the entire hotel team to promote internal sales and upselling of all facilities.
  • Manage and optimize the online and offline distribution strategy.
  • Ensure that all Electronic Distribution Systems are kept up to date at all times to maximize distribution and accommodation performance.
  • Oversee rate parity and positioning on OTAs.
  • Manage relationships with distribution partners and direct channels.
  • Prepare and send daily, weekly, and monthly revenue management reports, ensuring they are up to date and completed in accordance with the company's standardized procedures.

What we're looking for

  • Expert-level knowledge of Opera PMS.
  • Advanced knowledge of yield management tools: Ezyield, Roomrez.
  • Knowledge of pricing by segment, benchmarking analysis, inventory management, and forecasting.
  • Advanced knowledge of revenue and distribution tools: RMS Beonprice, D-Edge, Synxis, STR - Costar, BI tools, online/offline sales channel extranets, and other similar systems.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • High level of English.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills, strategic vision, and a commercial mindset.
  • University degree: Tourism, Business Administration, Economics.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Revenue Manager role.
