The role

What you'll do

Establish design criteria in accordance with project specifications, applicable regulations, and contractual requirements.
Report to the discipline manager and collaborate in the planning and management of the workload.
Perform and/or review engineering calculations and technical studies.
Prepare and review key discipline documents for projects and tenders.
Prepare and review requests for quotation (Requisitions for Inquiry).
Prepare and review technical reports. Review and approve vendor documentation.
Provide technical support during the development of tenders and proposals.
Provide technical support on-site when necessary.
Support and participate in required inspections and testing activities.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department by collecting lessons learned, identifying training needs, and implementing best practices.
Train, guide, and mentor engineers with less experience.

Required Profile

Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar + Master's degree.
10 to 15 years of experience in the described functions.
Experience in the design of electrical installations for power generation projects.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office (MS Office) suite.
Knowledge of electrical engineering software such as ETAP, SKM Power Tools, SmartElectrical, or other similar electrical analysis and design tools will be valued.
High level of English.
Communication skills.
Organizational and planning skills.
Proactive attitude.
Ability to work in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
