Job Description

Our Company

We are Spain's largest airline and a leader between Europe and Latin America; we belong to the IAG group and are part of the oneworld alliance. Our goal is to always be the best option for travel for our customers, ensuring they feel that their safety and the quality and experience of their journey are our top priorities. In addition to the airline, we have aircraft maintenance as a complementary business.

At Iberia, we value that our professionals serve as role models for customers, but also within the team. We expect all new hires to exemplify these behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Line maintenance of aircraft (faults, troubleshooting, and tasks within the scope of the MOE).

• Ensure the quality of Iberia's Line Maintenance service. Monitor aircraft availability and technical punctuality.

• Perform aircraft maintenance tasks at the Line Maintenance level.

• Properly use all company equipment, including company-provided vehicles.

• Ensure timely updates regarding aeronautical training provided by the company.

• Report periodically on all work performed during the shift.

• Comply with all internal company rules and guidelines, paying special attention to the use of necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the role.

Work Context:

• Iberia aims to grow from its current 45 long-haul aircraft to 70, contributing to making Barajas a major hub on par with other leading European airports. The company will also renew its short and medium-haul fleet. The company plans to incorporate new A350, A321XLR, and potentially A330NEO aircraft from the recently announced IAG order, which will be distributed among several group airlines.

• We operate fully digitally using AMOS Mobile and Aviatar's eTLB on iPads.

• Top-tier tooling and equipment: Recent investment in work tools from US brands and Airbus-specific equipment.

• Fixed remuneration as well as variable compensation based on corporate objectives.

Specific Job Requirements:

Certifier with a blank LMA License.

Technical English, at a level sufficient for reading and understanding technical documentation.

Category B driver's license.

Talent at Iberia:

We value that our professionals serve as role models for customers, but also within the team. We expect all new hires to exemplify these behaviors.

  • We are one and diverse: You work in a coordinated, open, and collaborative manner, pursuing a common goal in a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • We bring soul and passion: You make things happen by fully engaging in everything you do.
  • We reinvent tomorrow: You seek new and different ideas to solve problems.
  • We connect with our customers and colleagues: You always strive to go a step beyond expectations with a smile and a pleasant attitude.
  • We keep it simple and efficient: We focus on what matters, analyzing situations and eliminating anything that does not add value.
  • Safety is in our DNA: We work with the same attention and care as on day one: in every ground operation, in every flight. We know the processes and apply them rigorously.

Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

At Iberia, we are one and diverse. We are a true reflection of modern society, and we have teams with very diverse profiles that enrich us, making us more creative and innovative.

We believe in talent without labels and are fully committed to offering equal professional opportunities to all people. Therefore, all decisions in our selection processes are based exclusively on the competencies, skills, and knowledge required for the role.
