Specifications and Suppliers

Drafting technical specifications.

Selecting appropriate suppliers.

Follow-up meetings.

Tooling Engineering

Development and implementation of alternative tooling to the manufacturer's original tools (OEM).

Safety and Health (H&S) risk analysis.

Tooling and Machinery Management

Control and management of work in progress (WIP) by the technical office, assignment of service purchase requests, and prioritization of needs.

Support to the office in managing high-impact projects. Main point of contact with other involved departments (IAG, Infrastructure, Safety and Health, etc.).

Production follow-up (routine and repair) in weekly meetings.

Monitoring the development of new tooling for repair engineering and acting as the focal point with in-house tooling service providers.

Budget control for projects under the BFBBC and GTF-Repair investment accounts.

Support in closing the quality plan and managing alternative tooling.

Quality audit actions related to the technical office.

Development of standard work instructions and operating procedures for the department.
