Job Purpose and Main Responsibilities


The purpose of the Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) Engineer position is to support the FDM program through the download, reading, decoding, validation, analysis, and utilization of flight data, ensuring its availability, quality, and usefulness for safety analysis and operational efficiency.
The role will be oriented toward the department's daily operations, with a special focus on the complete flight data chain, from aircraft systems and recorders to FDM tools. It requires the ability to analyze technical incidents, interpret flight parameters, understand aircraft system functionality, analyze events, conduct operational studies, and perform specific investigations.


The main responsibilities will be:
