QMS Specialist

• 5+ years in quality, engineering, operations, compliance, or process improvement roles.

• Strong experience with digital QMS systems and data-driven improvement methods.

• Strong knowledge of QMS standards (ISO 9001 required; AS9100, AQAP2110, PECAL or similar beneficial)

• Experience with quality tools and risk management (RCA, CAPA, FMEA, PDCA, risk assessments).

• Audit experience, either as an internal auditor or supporting external certification

• Adaptability and a real willingness to learn; comfortable in a fast-paced, agile production environment where processes are still taking shape

• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to drive cross-functional alignment and work independently with minimal supervision

• Professional fluency in both English and Spanish

• Degree in Engineering, Quality, Business, or related field.

• Knowledge of AS9100, AQAP 2110, PECAL, or ISO 27001

• Multi-site or international corporate experience

• Background in defence tech, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or automotive

Why this role matters

The Quality Management System (QMS) Specialist/engineer is responsible for implementation of the ICEYEs Quality Management System in our Valencia production unit to ensure consistent delivery of products and services that meet customer, regulatory, and industry standards. In this role you will partner closely with production, supply chain, Health and safety teams to ensure that our processes are aligned with business goals and embedded into daily practices.

This role will report to the Global Quality Management System (QMS) manager and operate as a standalone position within the Spain facility.

• Ensure ICEYE Quality Management System is fully implemented in our Valencia facility

• Drive ICEYE production framework maturity increase in Valencia - be the subject matter expert for QMS, QA, Support Health and safety and environmental topics.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and industry requirements, serve as the main point of contact for auditors and certification bodies.

• Act as an internal auditor in our internal process audits covering quality and supporting EHS topics.

• Ensure controlled documentation rigor in Valencia operations

• Define and track quality KPIs; prepare and present regular performance reports to leadership.

• Provide training and coaching on QMS processes, standards, and quality tools; promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
