The role

At Importaco, we are looking to hire a Demand & Production Planning Manager to lead demand and production planning at Importaco Poland, ensuring product availability, optimal inventory levels, and a high level of customer service.

We want to hire a profile with experience in planning, an analytical vision, and the ability to coordinate transversally with the different areas of the business.

Lead and coordinate Demand & Production Planning processes, transforming market demand into a reliable and executable production plan, aligned with factory capacity, available resources, and service, inventory, and efficiency objectives.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain the demand forecast, incorporating historical data, trends, promotions, and launches.

  • Transform demand into a weekly production plan, considering capacity, inventories, materials, and resources.

  • Optimize finished product inventory, guaranteeing availability and freshness while reducing stockouts and obsolescence.

  • Prepare and lead S&OP sessions, providing demand, inventory, and production information.

  • Provide support for the preparation of budgets and the analysis of production planning.

  • Keep SAP and planning and forecasting systems up to date, acting as a key user.

  • Monitor planning KPIs and identify deviations and corrective actions.

  • Lead Demand Forecasting and maintain statistical forecasting models.

  • Drive the continuous improvement of planning processes and tools.

  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Production, and Purchasing to maintain an integrated plan.
