Social Worker

- Degree in Social Work (or equivalent).

- At least one year of experience in the socio-sanitary sector.

- Bilingual in Basque

- Active professional registration.

At IMQ Igurco, a leading company in the socio-sanitary sector in the Basque Country, we are looking for Social Work professionals to join our day center located in Ondarroa.

The mission of the position is to facilitate that all people at the Center fully develop their potential, enrich their lives, and prevent dysfunctions, acting as an agent of change in society and in the lives of the people, families, and communities for whom they work. Among the functions, you may find:

- Coordinates new admissions to the Center, interviews the resident and the family in order to prepare the admission, and performs the initial assessment upon admission.

- Plans and organizes the Center's Social Work through appropriate objective programming.

- Performs, together with the rest of the team, the personalized care plan for residents, monitoring the resident's status with the established frequency and producing social reports.

- Works and assesses, jointly with residents and families, their particular needs and circumstances.

- Fosters and promotes the integration and participation of residents in the life of the center, promoting the participation of residents in the services offered by the Center and in the scheduled individual and/or group activities.

- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team by performing tasks that complement the specialized services of the team, in order to provide the corresponding social services.
