The role

description

At Indra Group, we protect what matters most.

From our Defense unit, we develop advanced technological solutions that reinforce national and international security.

💻 Join our European projects team!

We want to hire an Algorithm Development Specialist (Artificial Intelligence) with experience in the design and development of advanced algorithms for electromagnetic spectrum analysis and intelligent RF signal processing to join projects involving analysis, detection, classification, and identification of emitters in complex and contested environments.

💡 What will you do?

  • Design and development of advanced algorithms for electromagnetic spectrum analysis in complex and contested environments.
  • Development of deinterleaving and blind source separation techniques.
  • Implementation of robust RF signal detection and classification algorithms in low SNR and high spectral congestion conditions.
  • Identification and tracking of non-cooperative emitters.
  • Development of solutions based on digital signal processing (DSP), time-frequency analysis, and statistical and probabilistic modeling.
  • Robust feature extraction from complex signals.
  • Design of hybrid architectures that combine physical fundamentals with advanced deep learning techniques applied to spectrograms, temporal sequences, and complex signal representations.
  • Design, fine-tuning, and optimization of low-level deep learning models.
  • Analysis of model stability, generalization, and reproducibility.
  • Efficient implementation and deployment of algorithms in HPC and GPU environments, optimizing latency and throughput.
  • Application of best practices in experimentation, rigorous validation, bias control, and definition of operational metrics.

🎯 What are we looking for?

Don't worry if you don't meet 100% of the requirements. We encourage you to apply and tell us what you can contribute! 🚀

  • Solid experience in the design and development of artificial intelligence algorithms applied to electromagnetic spectrum analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge in deinterleaving, blind source separation, and RF signal analysis.
  • Experience in signal detection and classification in low SNR and high spectral congestion scenarios.
  • Ability to identify and track non-cooperative emitters.
  • Broad mastery of digital signal processing (DSP) and time-frequency analysis.
  • Solid knowledge of statistical and probabilistic modeling.
  • Experience in robust feature extraction and complex signal processing.
  • Mastery of deep learning techniques applied to spectrograms, time series, and complex data.
  • Experience working at a low level with deep learning models: architecture design, numerical optimization, and training debugging.
  • Knowledge of validation techniques, bias control, operational metrics, and experimental reproducibility.
  • Experience in high-performance computing (HPC) environments, GPU, and performance optimization.

🚀 What do we offer?

  • Innovative and high-impact projects: You will work with cutting-edge technologies, with an impact at both national and international levels.
  • A career plan tailored to you: Designed to boost your professional growth and development.
  • Autonomy and Flexibility: You will have the freedom to organize your work, with real work-life balance adapted to your pace.
  • Stability and future: Long-term projects in a leading company with more than 60,000 professionals, providing financial security.
  • Vacation days + personal days.
  • Close and transparent environment: You will enjoy direct and fluid communication with managers and colleagues, in a collaborative and open environment.
  • Continuous training: via Open University and Udemy for Business (over 6,000 courses to specialize!).
  • Employee discounts and benefits: Enjoy advantages in gyms, restaurants, shops, leisure, and much more as an Indra employee.
  • Bus service with different routes directed to workplaces outside the city of Madrid.

🕓 What is our selection process like?

  • Review of your profile: We evaluate your experience and skills to determine if you fit what we are looking for.
  • First contact (5-10 min): If you receive a call from an unknown number, it's our team! It will be a quick conversation to get to know you and answer any questions.
  • Technical interview: You will meet with the team, who will explain the project and daily tasks. We will also explore your technical knowledge. Additionally, we will conduct brief psychological and English competency assessments (if required).
  • Interview with the talent acquisition team: We want you to get to know us better as a company: values, career model, skills... so that both you and the team can assess if there is a match.
  • Offer and welcome: If everything goes well, you will join our team and start this new stage together!
