✅ Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.

✅ 5 to 10 years of experience in advanced administration of IT infrastructures.

✅ Advanced experience in virtualization, including installation, deployment, configuration, and administration from scratch of production environments based on VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Proxmox VE, OpenShift Virtualization, or equivalent technologies.

✅ Demonstrable experience in hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) solutions and high-availability platforms.

✅ Advanced knowledge of Windows Server and Linux.

✅ Experience with SAN storage, Fibre Channel, and iSCSI.

✅ Experience with backup and recovery tools.

✅ Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools.

✅ Minimum English level of B1.

✅ Availability to travel.

Nice to have

VMware VCP certification.
Kubernetes and container technologies.

💻 Join our team!

We are looking for a CIS Systems Engineer to participate in the development, evolution, and operation of next-generation CIS systems in a strategic project for the Spanish Air and Space Force.

What you'll do

Administer and evolve virtualized infrastructures based on VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Proxmox, OpenShift Virtualization, or equivalent technologies.
Design, deploy, and configure virtualization environments from scratch, ensuring their performance, availability, and scalability.
Manage hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) platforms and SAN storage solutions, including Fibre Channel and iSCSI.
Administer Microsoft Windows Server systems and their main corporate services.
Manage Linux servers and associated services such as LDAP, DNS, or IdM.
Administer and optimize PostgreSQL databases and complementary services.
Implement and maintain monitoring, backup, and recovery solutions.
Configure and administer high-availability clusters in Microsoft and Linux environments.
Participate in the automation of infrastructures and processes using specialized tools.
Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to resolve incidents and carry out support activities.
Contribute to the design, integration, and continuous improvement of the program's CIS platforms.
