• Minimum of 8 years of experience in activities related to the position.
• Experience in technical management and leadership of mechanical designs.
• Advanced proficiency in the NX tool.
• Knowledge of the design of structures, mechanisms, and deployment systems.
• Experience in electromechanical packaging.
• Knowledge of manufacturing documentation and generation of Bills of Materials.
• Knowledge and ability in the selection of materials and finishes.
• Knowledge of different joining methods: welding, bonding, riveting, and bolting.
• Experience in the design of watertight components.

• Desirable knowledge of Solid Edge and PLM tools.

We want to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in technical management and leadership of mechanical designs for structures, mechanisms, and electromechanical packaging to join projects for the development of advanced mechanical solutions for defense systems and high-complexity technology.

💡 What will you do?

• Technical management and leadership of mechanical designs for structures, mechanisms, and deployment systems.
• Development of electromechanical packaging solutions.
• Support for manufacturing and prototype validation.
• Mechanical design of components and systems produced through different manufacturing processes.
• Selection of appropriate materials and finishes according to project requirements.
• Design and definition of joints via welding, bonding, riveting, and bolting.
• Design of watertight components.
• Preparation of manufacturing documentation.
• Generation and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOM).
